Job Summary
Controller oversees payroll, accounts payable, and banking functions, maintains the general ledger and prepares period-end journal entries and financial reports, supports annual budgeting and variance analysis, assists with Medicare Cost Reports and annual audits, produces provider productivity reports to support provider compensation, reviews contracts, and leads improvements to financial systems; requires strong Excel, US GAAP knowledge, attention to detail, and supervisory experience in a healthcare finance environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or management is required
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience including financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, accounts payable, treasury, audit, tax, and payroll
- (5) years of relevant experience working in the healthcare industry is required, either direct experience or via auditing of healthcare organizations
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials are preferred
