Job Summary
Lead a critical legal entity rationalization initiative as an Interim Controller, managing GL clean-up, retained earnings adjustments, and complex journal entries. Drive standardization of accounting processes across multiple legal entities while partnering with external advisors on transfer pricing and tax-related initiatives. Execute month-end close activities and intercompany accounting with strong project management skills, working independently with minimal direction. This full-time, 6+ month consulting engagement is fully remote. A CPA and Sage Intacct experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Controller or senior accounting leadership experience
- Strong background in intercompany accounting, consolidations, and month-end close
- Experience with GL clean-up, retained earnings adjustments, and complex journal entries
- Ability to partner with external advisors on transfer pricing and tax-related initiatives (no tax preparation required)
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- This is a remote position
- This is a full-time, 6+ month consulting engagement
Desired Qualifications
- Sage Intacct experience
- Experience supporting transfer pricing initiatives and coordinating with external tax advisors
- CPA preferred
- Experience standardizing accounting processes across multiple legal entities
