Job Summary
Own all accounting operations across a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction organization, including general ledger, revenue accounting, AR, AP, payroll, equity, and tax compliance. Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes; prepare financial statements and management reporting under U.S. GAAP; serve as primary contact for external auditors and lead audits; ensure regulatory and statutory compliance across local, state, federal, and international levels. Research and resolve complex accounting issues, draft technical memos, and support adoption of new standards. Evaluate and optimize accounting systems and controls to support scale; build and mentor a high-performing accounting team; partner with FP&A, Revenue Operations, Sales, People, Legal, and others to support business initiatives; analyze financial trends and communicate risks and insights to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting best practices
- Proven experience leading audits and working with external advisors
- Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and influence stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
