Job Summary
Controller overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes; manage AP/AR, payroll, GL; develop accounting policies; manage inventory/cost accounting for vehicle upfitting; coordinate with operations for timely reporting; lead technical accounting research on mergers; prepare variance analyses and monthly reports; support audits and tax compliance; assist in forecasting/budgeting; identify process improvements; collaborate cross-functionally on accounting accuracy and timely information; requires BA/BS in accounting/finance and multi-site retail experience; ERP proficiency in major systems; GAAP proficiency; advanced Excel; strong analytical and project-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related degree
- Multi-Site industry experience (preferably Retail) is required
- ERP Experience such as NetSuite, MS Dynamics 365, Sage 300, Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, Workday, MS Dynamics GP or Intacct
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Deep analytical capabilities, with advanced Excel expertise
