Job Summary
Controller to lead full-cycle accounting within a private automotive dealership group. Responsibilities include overseeing GL, month-end close, financial statements, reconciliations, AP/AR/payroll, factory reporting, schedules, strengthening internal controls, and delivering timely, accurate financial reporting to ownership and leadership. True controller-level expertise with hands-on management of the full accounting cycle in a fast-paced dealership environment. CDK GMS experience required; 5+ years dealership accounting experience; accountability and ownership of the accounting backbone of the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of dealership accounting experience
- Strong, hands-on experience with CDK GMS (required)
- Proven ability to manage the full accounting cycle independently
- True Controller-level accounting expertise — this is not a finance/FP&A role
