Job Summary
Senior Accounting Manager/Controller role overseeing accounting and financial operations for a business unit in a fully remote setting. Lead month-end close and financial reporting, manage billing, cash flow, and day-to-day accounting operations, and support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls while partnering with operational leadership to enhance visibility into financial performance. Mentor accounting staff and contribute to integration and continuous improvement initiatives within a growing, recurring-revenue services organization. Requires 5+ years in accounting/finance, leadership in controller-level roles, and a strong background in financial reporting and operational accounting; CPA is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Leadership experience in Controller, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or similar role
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, and operational accounting
- Experience in service-based, recurring revenue, project-driven, or operational environments
- CPA preferred but not required
