Job Summary
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for all entities, including reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements. Manage grant accounting activities, from monthly invoicing and reimbursement requests to ensuring compliance with funder requirements and maximizing cash flow. Lead the annual budget development process, coordinate external audits, and establish internal control policies while mentoring the accounting team. Ensure accuracy of consolidated financial reporting and grant billings in alignment with GAAP, Uniform Guidance, and HUD standards. Directly supervise accounting professionals responsible for separate entities and specialized functions, partnering closely with the Chief Financial Officer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of seven years of progressive accounting experience
- At least three years in management or supervisory role
- Significant experience coordinating annual financial statement audits
- Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
