Job Summary
Lead monthly close activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and account analysis while maintaining general ledger activities and internal controls. Prepare reporting packages and financial analyses for leadership, perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, and partner with operational leaders to drive insights. Manage annual budgets, review budget-to-actuals, coordinate intercompany activity, and support external audits with documentation and issue resolution. Ensure accounting compliance with US GAAP and drive automation initiatives to improve financial processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong accounting theory and financial reporting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills
- Comfort with financial/business systems
Desired Qualifications
- CPA
- Experience with US GAAP
- Experience with IFRS
- Experience with ASPE
- Public accounting experience
- US GAAP (IFRS/ASPE) exposure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
