Job Summary
Controller to lead ABS's accounting operations in Warwick, Rhode Island. Oversee daily accounting functions (AR, AP, payroll, GL), manage month-end and year-end closes, prepare financial statements and management reports, develop budgets and cash flow projections, analyze financial performance for leadership, maintain internal controls, coordinate with external accountants and auditors, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a four-person accounting team while supporting strategic growth and enterprise-wide financial discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Progressive accounting and financial management experience
- Prior leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- CPA designation is welcome but not required
- Experience in office technology, service, distribution, or related industries is helpful but not required
