Job Summary
Direct the preparation of financial statements and analyze the organization's financial results. Manage compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements, internal controls, and tax filings. Create and analyze reports to identify opportunities for improving financial results or addressing potential organizational risks. Develop systems and processes to enhance division and company performance. Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while serving as a strategic member of the leadership team. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, five years of finance experience including three years managing accounting staff, and proficiency with MS Office and integrated accounting systems. Salary ranges from $110,000 to $120,000 annually with health benefits after 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, managerial finance, business administration or related field
- 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting positions
- 3+ years of experience managing accounting staff
- In-depth experience and knowledge of accounting principles/theories (GAAP, FASB)
- Demonstrated experience managing internal payroll operations
- High Proficiency with MS Office and job costing technologies
- Knowledge and experience with integrated accounting systems
