Job Summary
Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting across multi-country operations, overseeing month/quarter/year closes, consolidations, and audits; ensure compliance with US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards; manage intercompany transactions, cross-border currency management, and cash flow; drive budgeting, forecasting, and KPI dashboards; optimize accounting systems and internal controls; provide strategic financial insights and scalable processes for growth; collaborate with executive management on planning and performance analyses, including tax filings and global payroll management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or CMA strongly preferred
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role
- Experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries/entities
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards is a plus
- Proven experience with multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange management
- Experience in professional services, agency, or project-based business models preferred
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage Intacct, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools
- Experience implementing or upgrading accounting systems
- Experience working with remote/distributed accounting teams
- Background in fast-paced, high-growth environments
