Job Summary
Americas Controller responsible for regional controllership across North and South America and leading Global Consolidations. Oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, enhances internal controls, leads the accounting team, manages reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses, coordinates external audits, and streamlines close procedures. Partners with FP&A to support variance analysis and provides accounting guidance on policies. Manages global consolidation processes, ensures intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation adjustments are accurate, prepares consolidated financial statements, and delivers management, debt, and board-level reporting. Participates in system implementations and upgrades for global processes and acts as a strategic partner to regional and global leaders. Emphasis on US GAAP compliance, multi-entity coordination, and providing data-driven financial insights in a fast-paced, insights-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in controllership, consolidations, and financial analytics
- Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting standards
- Experience with global ERP and consolidation platforms
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to work in a global, multi-entity environment with complex structures
