Job Summary
Controller responsible for end-to-end accounting, GAAP statements for board/investor reporting, intercompany consolidation across US/UK/Canada, revenue recognition for mixed hardware/software with recurring revenue, hardware COGS including inventory/BOM/depreciation, ERP/tool implementation, automated close/reconciliation workflows, external tax coordination, debt reporting, and establishing internal controls plus audit readiness. 6–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience with startup exposure; experience with multi-entity consolidation, ASC 606, and ERP migration; international accounting experience (US + non-US jurisdiction). Preferred familiarity with AI-native finance tools and fundraising data due diligence.
