Job Summary
Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting under GAAP, lead the accounting team, manage budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, internal controls, and financial analysis, and support strategic decisions including potential M&A. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 5+ years in accounting/finance with managerial experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Excel. Office-based in Seattle with occasional remote work options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- CPA certification highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 1 year in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to lead and mentor an accounting team
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Tax compliance experience
