Controller, Accounting (Portfolio Company)

Controller will lead the Accounting function, overseeing general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets and treasury; design and implement accounting policies and procedures; ensure internal controls with IT; lead month-end and year-end closes for corporate and subsidiary books under US GAAP; prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses; support budgeting and forecasting; liaise with founders and stakeholders; coordinate external audits; mentor accounting staff and collaborate with operations, HR, and other departments to ensure timely, accurate financial information; strong knowledge of real estate accounting and reporting systems; CPA required; 7+ years of accounting management experience; experience with Yardi or equivalent system.
