The Controller position, reporting directly to the CFO, involves overseeing the company's accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and producing accurate financial reports. The role demands strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in managing accounting processes and controls. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of 5-10 years of accounting experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5-10 years of progressively responsible accounting experience required
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles required
- Strong management and leadership skills required
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to solve a variety of problems independently
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Self-starter, highly motivated and committed
Desired Qualifications
- CPA is a plus
- Experience with mergers and acquisition integrations is a plus
- Accounting firm experience is preferred
