Job Summary
Oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations by assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses. Manage day-to-day functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax, payroll, compliance, and the general ledger while supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. Conduct variance analysis, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure adherence to GAAP and tax regulations. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and supervise accounting staff. This role supports the company's overall financial health within a high-acquisitive environment, requiring proficiency in NetSuite and strong analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in distribution or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Netsuite experience

- Sales & Use Tax experience a big plus
