Job Summary
Direct, monitor, and assist with analytical, technical, and procedural functions related to safety and regulatory compliance. Perform field safety audits of client premises, conduct risk assessments, and execute post-accident investigations. Analyze loss data to identify trends and solutions, while coaching employees and management on safety protocols. Ensure adherence to provincial regulations and internal standards through required actions and activities. Collaborate with regional staff to improve safety performance, reduce exposures and costs, and maximize business opportunities. This role requires 50% travel and bilinguism in French and English.
Required Qualifications
- Educational experience in the area of occupational safety or a closely related field
- Willingness to complete prescribed and continuing classes, coursework, or other education and/or certification
- Bi-lingual (French/English)
- Willing to travel up to 50%
- Ability to communicate very well both verbally and in writing
Desired Qualifications
- Work experience in safety, occupational health and/or risk management is helpful
