Job Summary
Install, configure, and commission residential and commercial automation systems, including audio/video installations, surveillance, lighting, and motorized shades. Program and troubleshoot Control4 systems, configure networks, and diagnose service issues independently in the field. Maintain project documentation and communicate professionally with homeowners and stakeholders. Participate in a rotating on-call service schedule with some travel required.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3+ years experience in Control4 programming and system setup
- Control4 certification
- At least 3 years experience installing, calibrating, whole house audio/video, home theaters, surround sound systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background screening
- Ability to participate in rotating on-call service schedule
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Some travel
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in security systems: wiring, setup, programming, troubleshooting, setup monitoring services (Honeywell, DSC)
- 3-5 years experience in CCTV systems: wiring, design, setup, troubleshooting
- 3-5 years experience in structure wiring: cabling, terminations, testing
