Job Summary
Lead daily electrical assembly of control panels, ensuring accuracy, safety, and schedule adherence. Attend morning meetings, prepare production reports, and submit material requests to maintain workflow. Train electrical assemblers on job duties and collaborate with engineering to resolve process issues. Manage material utilization, audit ship-loose accessories, and issue parts via the internal system. Perform modifications on existing builds, including iron work, while keeping work centers clean and supporting 5S initiatives. Operate computer terminals to access engineering drawings and navigate tight spaces for installations.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Ability to accurately install electrical components and wire electrical control panels per assembly drawings
- Ability to verify components with bills of material to ensure accuracy
- Strong knowledge and understanding of blueprints and schematics
- Manage multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines with attention to detail
- Strong ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Proficient verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications
- Ability to hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications
- Self-motivation with ability to work without much supervision
- Ability to have a safety-focused mindset while performing job duties and functions
- Ability to crawl and kneel in tight spaces to complete work
- Strong ability to be flexible with working hours to allow for occasional overtime
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2-5 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/production environment or relevant experience
- Strong problem-solving skills both individually and with others
- Basic computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office - Outlook, TEAMs, Word, and Excel
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic ability to open and navigate SolidWorks 3D
