Job Summary
Read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and wiring diagrams. Build and wire electrical control panels according to schematics. Install, connect, test, and troubleshoot electrical and control components while diagnosing equipment problems involving 480V, 120V, and 24VDC systems. Verify wiring, electrical connections, components, and control-panel functionality. Document wiring changes, completed repairs, and maintenance work. Follow electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures. Assist with equipment installation, startup, repair, PLCs, VFDs, and motor drives.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on industrial electrical or controls experience
- Comfortable working with 480V, 120V, and 24VDC systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience building and wiring electrical control panels
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to follow electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures
Desired Qualifications
- PLC, VFD, or motor-drive experience
