Job Summary
Control Systems Technician II role in a hospital/clinical environment focusing on preventative maintenance and repairs of control systems (DDC/Building Automation, HVAC control systems, Energy Management). Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, installing and revising software/hardware operating systems, developing and running simulations of control loop performance, creating and installing new graphical interfaces for facility equipment, maintaining documentation and work orders, coordinating with leadership and contractors, and ensuring system reliability and safety (including fire alarm/IMT knowledge) with adherence to standards. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of DDC controls experience; hospital experience and Honeywell/building automation familiarity are preferred. Also entails respiratory fit testing per health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years' experience as a DDC controls systems service-related technician
- Factory trained in a DDC system’s programming language
- Building Automation System experience
