Job Summary
Ensure mechanical integrity of control systems and maintain PCS, ECS, MCS, and QCS integrity and documentation. Provide daily technical support to the UT manufacturing unit, including troubleshooting, repair, and retrofit project assistance. Audit engineering standards, manage change activities, and develop obsolescence plans. Support unit turnaround and preventative maintenance while training and mentoring IE Technicians. Back-fill for other CSI roles as needed. Requires 5-15 years of process control/instrumentation experience and field instrument expertise. Report to the Instrument Manager at Kraton's Belpre, Ohio location.
Required Qualifications
- Field instrument expertise – automated valves, transmitters, measurement, etc.
- 5-15 years experience in process control/instrumentation
- Team leadership skills including Team Building, Self-Initiative, Planning, Customer Focus, and Flexibility
- Knowledgeable of Loop checks, Loop tuning, and Loop Sheets
- Knowledgeable of DCS systems, PLC's, and Safety Instrumented Systems hardware
- High school diploma/GED
Desired Qualifications
- Some discipline specific certifications
- Modicon PLC programming
- Allen-Bradley PLC programming
