Job Summary
Control Systems Technical Engineering Group Supervisor leading engineers in control systems design and related assignments. You will interpret, organize, and coordinate activities, develop design documents, review technical reports and calculations, present technical results, mentor team members, manage staffing plans, and lead quality audits and technical reviews. The role requires strong verbal and written communication, interaction with vendors, contractors, and clients, and staying current with software and automation processes. Part-time telework with at least three days of in-person attendance weekly at the assigned office/project (Reston, VA or Knoxville, TN). Relocation is authorized nationally for family relocation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
- 13-19 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years in lieu of degree
- Current Professional Engineering License (PE)
- Experience in leadership or supervisory role (minimum four years)
- Knowledge of control systems engineering work processes and specifications
- Willingness to travel for project support
- Ability to live and work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Experience with quality assurance programs such as ASME-NQA-1 or ISO-9001
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in nuclear quality and safety environments preferred
- Experience in nuclear plant design (commercial or DOE) preferred
