Job Summary
Lead a project team in delivering cutting-edge control system projects, producing essential lifecycle documentation from technical specifications to commissioning. Independently develop software and test procedures within project time scales while interfacing with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers in design meetings. Manage time and workload to achieve objectives, taking part in project development, commissioning, and troubleshooting both in-house and on-site, including offshore and abroad opportunities. Train and develop less experienced engineers to share knowledge and information. This role requires graduate-level education with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in process control, safety, or automation systems.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in developing PLC and SCADA software for a range of major manufacturers
- Good knowledge of communication protocols, fault finding, and network configurations
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Ability to produce written documents of a good standard
- Experience in control and automation projects across several industries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
- Ability to manage time and organize workload to meet deadlines
- Graduate-level education
- Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in process control, safety, or automation systems/applications
