Job Summary
Act as a control systems engineer for selected projects, focusing on PLC/DCS programming, HMI configuration, and software/hardware acceptance testing. Provide input to initial project schedules and maintain regular schedules for designated projects in midstream gas processing and oil & gas industries. Conduct work process quality reviews and drawing approvals as a lead engineer while interacting with engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients. Deliver man hour and equipment estimates for project proposals and coordinate numerous activities under pressure. Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, Allen Bradley and Wonderware expertise, and 30% travel. EIT licensure required.
Required Qualifications
- BS. in Electrical Engineering or B.S. in Engineering with equivalent I/E & control systems experience
- 5+ years' experience
- Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and Wonderware HMI development experience
- EIT licensure or the ability to get licensed after joining the company
- trouble shooting skills
- commissioning and start-up experience
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and ethical
- Well developed, detail oriented organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk the property and laydown yards
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds
