Control System Programmer

Create computer programs controlling underground mining equipment, including battery electric vehicles and conveyor systems. Write PLC and computer code using structured text, C, and other languages. Perform factory commissioning and service work, testing algorithms and modeling solutions. Investigate problems with the service crew to propose fixes and identify non-conformities for resolution. Update older code to work with new hardware while following prescribed safety standards. Commission equipment in underground mining situations and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean facility and develop improvement plans for production methods and operating procedures.
