Job Summary
The Control System Application Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and implementing PLC and HMI systems for industrial automation and control applications. Essential functions include PLC programming, system integration, documentation, and client support. Candidates should possess expertise in PLC programming with Allen-Bradley systems, strong communication skills, and a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience. The role requires occasional travel to client sites and involvement in troubleshooting and commissioning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and/or computer engineering and 0-2 years relevant experience OR 4+ years relevant experience working in PLC driven process controls
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Organizational skills for files and deliverables
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming various PLC brands and platforms
- Familiarity with Schneider systems
- Knowledge and experience with SCADA systems
