Job Summary
The Control System Application Engineer at CITI INC. is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and implementing PLC and HMI systems for industrial automation applications. Responsibilities include PLC programming, system integration, documentation, in-house testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and client support. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent experience, proficiency in programming various PLC systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines. Occasional travel for on-site project support is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and/or computer engineering
- 0-2 years relevant experience OR 4+ years relevant experience working in PLC driven process controls
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet project deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming various PLC brands and platforms
- Familiarity with industrial automation concepts, control systems, and instrumentation
- Knowledge of SCADA systems
Additional Requirements
- Must be capable of moderate physical work including lifting and travel to different project locations
