Job Summary
As a Control Systems Tech, you will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify electrical machinery and control equipment in various environments. Responsibilities include maintaining electrical systems by connecting wires, repairing and replacing equipment, and performing preventative maintenance. You will conduct tests on electrical systems, diagnose malfunctions using test equipment, and operate various mechanical systems including boilers and air handling units. A high school diploma or GED, along with 5 years of relevant experience and certifications in HVAC or Boiler Operation are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
- Communicate with Supervisors, peers, or subordinates.
- Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality.
- Learn all manual tasks performed within the department.
- Perform tasks assigned using specific operating procedures.
- Adhere to Rust-Oleum Corporation Quality principles and participate in all departmental and company-wide Quality activities.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Desired Qualifications
- Certified experience in HVAC and or Boiler Operation.
- 5 years experience in pipe fitting, welding and fabrication.
