Job Summary
The Astros Ballpark Entertainment Department is hiring part-time seasonal Control Room Staff for various roles, including Primary Music Operator, Technical Director, EVS Replay Operator, ENG Camera Operator, and ENG Camera Shader. Responsibilities include executing music cues, supporting the run-of-show for live events, recalling highlights, and capturing footage as directed. Candidates must be familiar with production equipment, conduct themselves professionally, and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Click Effects or Seven Point Audio preferred (for Primary Music Operator)
- Experience with EVS XT-VIA (for EVS Replay Operator)
- Ability to work in all types of outdoor weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
- Ability to adjust to changing work hours and locations
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with production control rooms and equipment (not limited to Cameras, Replay, CG, etc.)
- Ability to adapt on the fly and thrive in a high stress, time-specific environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
