Job Summary
Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain safe and efficient operations while effectively monitoring Reworld operations systems. Execute approved plant start-up and shutdown procedures to assure the facility meets operational, environmental, and safety commitments. Manage critical events by prioritizing tasks during emergencies and responding to operational alarms with immediate corrective action. Demonstrate a solid understanding of operational best practices, including problem-solving and sound decision-making to support safety and operational goals. Requires successful completion of the ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam within the first year and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam
- Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts
- Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
- Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
- Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
- Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
- Consistently work in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values
Desired Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations
- Experienced in reading blueprints, P&ID's, and schematic specifications
- Demonstrate solid understanding of operational best practices
- Ability to problem solve and make sound decisions
