Control Room Operator

Control Room Operator responsible for remote monitoring, operation, and real-time analysis of wind, solar, and battery storage facilities from Invenergy’s Center of Excellence. Responsibilities include monitoring and operating generation facilities, addressing turbine and inverter faults, managing balance of plant controls (power/curtailments, voltage, reactive power), responding to critical alarms, coordinating with site technicians, customers, grid operators, and third parties, maintaining accurate logs, analyzing data and trends, monitoring weather for on-site safety, and working independently or collaboratively on improvement initiatives. Preferred skills include experience with SCADA systems (especially wind/solar operations), PI data monitoring, Microsoft Office, strong problem solving and communication abilities. The role is safety-sensitive and requires passing drug testing for offers. Base pay is $35.71-$50.51 per hour with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Located in Bolingbrook, IL, with in-person work expectations and 12-hour rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
