Control Room Operator

Control Room Operator who will monitor and manage pellet production operations using HMI tools, oversee drying processes, and coordinate movement of pellets into railcars, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include maintaining housekeeping standards, using SDS for chemicals, completing Plant Operator Development training, maintaining clear and concise radio communications, participating in OH&S activities, leading and training peers, guiding loaders and operators during upset conditions, supervising hazard identification and incident investigations, coordinating holiday coverage, and directing shift teams to meet production and safety goals. The role requires strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, the ability to operate mobile equipment safely, basic documentation and checklist abilities, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.
