Control Room Operator

Operate and monitor plant pellet production using HMI tools, manage the drying processes and production of pellets, and oversee movement of pellets into railcars. Maintain safety communications with plant employees and leadership, uphold housekeeping standards, use SDS for chemicals, complete required Plant Operator Development Program training, participate in radio communications and OH&S activities, mentor peers, train crews on mobile equipment and safety topics, participate in incident investigations, coordinate holiday staffing for coverage, and collaborate with HR, Safety, Training, and senior leaders to ensure safe and efficient production while monitoring moisture, dryer temperatures, pellet feed, scrubber operations, and other process parameters.
