Job Summary
Monitor material flow and system performance using WMS/EWM dashboards while acting as first-line support for operational teams to resolve system or process-related issues quickly. Maintain accurate incident logs, escalate unresolved items to Engineering or IT, and implement safe temporary workarounds during downtime. Collaborate with Engineering and IT to diagnose technical faults, produce accurate reports for DMS and SIC processes, and analyse downtime trends to identify root causes. Participate in project planning sessions, validate system integration with SAP EWM specialists, and support FAT, SAT, and UAT testing cycles during the pre-go-live phase. Help develop Standard Operating Procedures and provide feedback during commissioning. Requires a driving licence and own transport; based in Portbury.
Required Qualifications
- Driving licence
- Access to your own transport
- Strong understanding of automated warehouse systems and material flow processes
- Experience working with SAP EWM and system integration environments
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem‐solving capability
- Confidence working under pressure in a fast-paced, high‐volume environment
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, BI dashboards)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in cold store or temperature‐controlled operations
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
