Job Summary
Operate mixing, filling, and packaging equipment while weighing raw materials and mixing batches according to batch records and SOPs. Set up and maintain machinery to meet daily production goals, perform in-process quality checks, and identify or escalate defects. Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and chemical handling protocols while completing production documentation and maintaining a clean workspace. Work collaboratively with teammates and supervisors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to ensure product consistency and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
- Comfort in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines consistently
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and safety
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to learn new processes, support cross-training, and adapt to a regulated or lean manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate basic production or manufacturing equipment and machinery safely
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, SOPs, and visual aids
- Close vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus
- Ability to clearly hear and respond to audible alarms, production equipment, forklifts, and other machinery
- Ability to distinguish and understand verbal communication including instructions, safety warnings, and team discussions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
