Control & Protection Engineer – HVDC Service

Job Summary
Develop, configure, and verify control and protection functions for HVDC installations using graphical function block environments for real-time control systems; simulate, test, and verify functions in a laboratory setting; participate in system testing, factory system tests, and commissioning; troubleshoot and improve control logic and functionality; document functions and system solutions; collaborate with system, network, and site teams to deliver reliable HVDC solutions in international projects.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in electrical power engineering, electronics, automation, or equivalent
- Very good communication skills in Swedish and English
- Eligibility to work in the EU and willingness to travel internationally
- Experience with real-time systems and system testing
- Experience with graphical function block programming (e.g. HiDraw, Simulink, PLC FBD)
- Experience with control and protection systems within power systems
- Knowledge of HVDC or FACTS
- Ability to work in technically complex environments
