Control/Process Operator (+ $1.50/hr Night Shift Premium)

Job Summary
Roll and re-roll plate to match sweep, inspect for defects, and operate a burn table to cut material per blueprints. Transfer loads using a mag lift and blast and paint the plate. Adhere to all safety rules and participate in safety committees when involved. Perform other duties as assigned. This role requires a minimum of one year of experience, the ability to operate lifts up to 30,000 pounds and overhead cranes, and proficiency with tape measures. Fluency in English is required. The position involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds in a manufacturing plant environment with mandatory overtime, including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience
- The ability to operate a lift to move loads up to 30,000 pounds
- The ability to operate an overhead crane on a production line
- The ability to read a tape measurer
- The ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to work as a team, demonstrate high ethical standards, treat all coworkers with dignity and respect and support a positive working culture
- Mon-Fri 4:30PM-3:0AM (Subject to change based on business needs), *Mandatory overtime occasional scheduled including weekends
- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds which operate multiple shifts and frequent weekend shifts
- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
