Job Summary
Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material to guide panel assembly. Perform mechanical layout and installation of panel hardware including rails, back plates, and enclosure components prior to wiring. Assemble, wire, and terminate electrical control panels and power distribution assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications. Identify components, relay types, and wire routing accurately from technical drawings. Ensure completed panels meet quality standards and pass point-to-point inspection while following all applicable electrical codes and safety practices (NEC/NFPA). Requires demonstrated ability to interpret full schematics, prior experience in industrial control panel building, and familiarity with hand and power tools. Schedule includes Monday-Friday hours with regular overtime and occasional weekend availability based on production needs.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret full electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (not limited to point-to-point wiring)
- Prior experience in industrial control panel building, panel wiring, or electrical panel assembly
- Comfortable working from engineering prints and specifications with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, wire strippers, crimping tools, and testing equipment
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, with regular overtime and occasional weekend availability based on production needs
