Control Panel Technician

Job Summary
The Control Panel Technician will build, troubleshoot, and test industrial electrical control panels with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include layout, assembly, and wiring of control panels, drilling, tapping, punching, and mounting components, and setting up and testing finished control panels. The role requires the ability to read blueprints, perform point-to-point wiring of components such as PLCs, relays, motor starters, and VFDs, and troubleshoot electrical components that are not functioning properly. Candidates must possess strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics, and dimensioning layouts
- Capable of using various hand tools
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
