Job Summary

Wiring electrical control panels efficiently in a high-volume production setting while reading schematics, B.O.M./drawings, and engineering prints. Lay out, machine, populate, and wire electrical control enclosures, assembling mechanical and pneumatic components as required. Use hand tools, drills, taps, saws, knockout punches, and multi-meters to verify work by checking continuity or simulated functional tests. May operate a forklift with provided training. Requires UL 508A experience, knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLC terminology, and applicable codes. Reports to the subassembly floor supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have experience using the skills mentioned above
  • Experience in wiring electrical control panels
  • UL 508A experience
  • Read and interpret schematics and electrical specifications
  • Working knowledge of AC & DC control circuits
  • Knowledge of single and three-phase motor control
  • Knowledge of PLC terminology/function
  • Basic knowledge of measuring instruments and meters
  • The ability to work with and understand electromechanical functionality
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role in an organized fashion
  • Strong computer skills
  • Capability to work with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to successfully complete multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment

Desired Qualifications

  • UL 508A experience is a plus
