Job Summary
VP Control Manager within JPMorgan Chase's Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) supporting Acquisitions & Strategic Investments (ASI) and AWM Control Programs. Responsibilities include overseeing AWM control programs, driving standardization and continuous improvement of the control environment, leading audit preparation and testing, and managing issue resolution with Audit, Compliance, and Risk partners. Lead ASI lifecycle activities from NDA through integration, ensuring compliance with enterprise control frameworks, and provide guidance to senior stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Risk, and business leadership. Prepare Quarterly Scorecards and Integration Updates for committees and senior leadership. Leverage firmwide tools to solve complex control challenges, emphasize automation, and foster continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in financial services with experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, or operational risk management
- Proven ability to manage risk-based decisions in complex situations and to advise stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Risk
- Strong stakeholder management and influence skills; experience presenting to senior management and delivering executive communications
- Experience leading change management strategies for complex initiatives and training others on best practices
