Job Summary
Senior Associate Control Manager in JPMorgan Chase's Consumer and Community Banking leads end-to-end risk assessments, designs and monitors controls with automation, analyzes program data and reports to support decisions, and owns Risk & Control Self-Assessments. The role collaborates with Legal, Finance, and Compliance, drives regulatory compliance and process improvements, and applies digital risk management, agile methods, and automation to strengthen the control environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years working in financial services, with experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, or operational risk management.
- Independently apply risk management practices in routine situations, voices concerns, executes escalation procedures, and assists others with standard risk matters.
- Utilize change management resources, applies standard approaches to minimize disruption, supports stakeholders through moderate change, and escalates complex matters when needed.
- Influence others using facts and data, facilitates mutually acceptable solutions, engages productively across the business, and escalates complex matters when necessary.
- Establish productive relationships with internal stakeholders, communicates proactively, adapts to stakeholder needs, and assists with stakeholder engagement.
- Independently create and deliver effective presentations using sound design principles, writes executive summaries and key messages with clarity, and actively listens and summarizes discussions to drive alignment.
- Embrace responsibility for individual and team outcomes, collaborates across functions, promotes an inclusive environment, and works productively with peers and stakeholders.
- Independently capture and document project insights, participates in knowledge sharing, applies lessons learned to improve work quality, and assists others with documentation.
- Analyze routine and moderately complex data, critically evaluates information and alternatives, identifies key issues and patterns, engages stakeholders, and delivers timely, fact-based decisions while assisting others with analytical tasks.
