Job Summary
Manage and prioritize a queue of business-as-usual change requests for procedure documents while leading the annual attestation and review process to ensure compliance and audit readiness. Apply prescribed templates and style guidelines to maintain consistency, convert procedures to active voice with numbered lists and if-then tables, and identify keywords to optimize document searchability. Analyze process gaps to recommend updates and secure authorized approvals before finalizing documents for publication. Conduct quality assurance checks, peer reviews, and monthly meetings with business partners to discuss trends and facilitate communications regarding procedural changes. Requires 3+ years of procedure writing experience in financial services, a BA/BS degree, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and publishing systems.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of procedure writing/editing experience, including reformatting detailed procedural documents
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in financial services and procedure writing/editing
- Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing annual review schedules and managing multiple projects
- Proven client relations and presentation skills, including facilitating meetings and supporting procedural communications
- In-depth knowledge of financial services operations, regulatory, and compliance environments
- Advanced editing skills, including converting procedures to active voice and applying external style guides
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, and publishing/document management systems
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
