Job Summary
Oversee governance and oversight of Firmwide Control Management programs, including the New Product Assessment (NPA), ESG controls, and the Government Claims Program, across a global organization. Build and maintain a consistent control framework, collaborate with Technology, Risk Management, Compliance, and Legal, and support regulatory obligations. Provide SME support on related controls, assist with policy/procedure governance, and help ensure reporting and applications meet stakeholder needs. Requires 3 years of banking and project management experience and a Bachelor’s degree, with strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of banking and project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- High level of professionalism, detail oriented, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Leadership and Influencing skills - Takes ownership and is accountable for area of responsibility
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written; able to communicate at all levels
- Strong presentation skills – verbal and written; able to drive presentations
- Networking – exceptional interpersonal skills; collaboration and relationship building
- Work independently as well as part of a team; flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities; fast-paced, results driven environment
- Proactive problem solving, critical thinking, data synthesis and analytical skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) and SharePoint
- 2+ years of financial service experience in controls, audit, risk management, or compliance preferred
