Job Summary
This role supports cokemaking processes by engaging with plant personnel to manage ongoing operational and maintenance activities, identify and manage projects for operational improvement, and facilitate company communications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology, or related technical field
- Minimum of four (4) years of related engineering experience
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related technical field and a minimum of six (6) years of related engineering experience
- Experience in a coke plant, chemical or petrochemical manufacturing facility, or other heavy industrial setting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (e.g. ControlLogix, SLC 500)
- Experience with DeltaV DCS programming and maintenance
- Experience with Burner Management Systems (BMS)
- Experience with data historian (e.g. AVEVA PI) and CMMS software (e.g. Maximo)
- Experience with implementing continuous improvement methodologies
