Job Summary
Control Engineer to design, develop, and commission automation solutions across manufacturing, testing, and product development applications. Responsibilities include developing and programming automation applications using PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms; commissioning and troubleshooter electrical and mechanical systems at customer sites; supporting system architecture and full project lifecycle; direct interaction with customers while managing project communications and deliverables; mentoring junior engineers and providing technical leadership; and continuously learning and applying new automation technologies. The role involves traveling to customer sites for startup and troubleshooting, working in a project-based consulting environment, and leveraging skills in PLCs, motion control, robotics, and machine vision to deliver innovative automation solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3-10 years of industrial automation experience
- Strong programming background, including object-oriented and text-based programming
- Experience with PLCs, motion control, process control, robotics, machine vision, and SCADA systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work directly with customers
- Strong communication and proposal development skills
- Willingness to travel approximately 25–40%
