Job Summary

Manage the full lifecycle of commercial agreements, including intake, review, redlining, execution, and repository maintenance for aPriori's global sales organization. Administer the CLM system (Linksquares), implement AI-powered workflows, and develop standard operating procedures to improve throughput and visibility. Partner with the Deal Desk to ensure order documentation accuracy and prepare negotiated agreements for authorized signatory execution. Review customer-proposed redlines for SaaS agreements, SOWs, and NDAs while triaging legal issues independently or escalating to the VP of Legal. Maintain data hygiene standards, generate leadership dashboards, and support RFP/RFI responses. Occasionally work outside standard US business hours to accommodate EMEA and APAC colleagues. Based in Greater Boston, MA, this senior role requires 7+ years of commercial contracts experience and proficiency with CLM platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of hands-on commercial contracts experience in a technology company, law firm, or legal operations environment
  • demonstrated experience managing SaaS or software licensing agreements
  • Deep familiarity with standard commercial contract structures including SaaS agreements, on-premises software licenses, NDAs/MNDAs, SOWs, and order documents
  • ability to identify, explain, and resolve common negotiation points without attorney supervision
  • Working knowledge of data privacy concepts relevant to commercial agreements, including GDPR, CCPA, and standard DPA structures
  • Hands-on experience administering or operating within a CLM platform (e.g., Linksquares, Ironclad, Conga, DocuSign CLM, Icertis, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve contracts workflows
  • ability to articulate specific tools used and measurable outcomes achieved
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to articulate aPriori's contractual positions clearly and professionally to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively under pressure, and exercise sound judgment on when to escalate
  • Meticulous attention to detail in contract review, data entry, and obligation tracking
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be available for occasional (estimated at a few times per month) flexibility outside standard US business hours to accommodate colleagues and customers in EMEA and APAC time zones

Desired Qualifications

  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent professional certification
  • Experience at a fast-paced B2B SaaS company or enterprise software vendor
  • Experience supporting or collaborating directly with a sales deal desk in an enterprise B2B environment
  • Experience completing security questionnaires, vendor questionnaires, and RFPs for enterprise technology prospects
