Job Summary
Contracts & Procurement Specialist embedded with Finn Partners’ New York, NY team, responsible for reviewing client master service agreements and confidentiality agreements, negotiating terms with suppliers including freelancers/independent contractors, managing procurement contracts for goods and services, and ensuring compliance with insurance requirements and risk mitigation. The role involves maintaining contract templates, advising on insurance certificates, supporting audits and government reporting, and collaborating across business units to drive process improvements. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience), 2–3 years in procurement/contracts, strong legal terminology knowledge, risk and compliance focus, proficiency with MS Office, and excellent stakeholder management across multi-state and international supplier relationships. The position is a full-time, direct-hire remote role aligned to the New York office, with a salary range of $55,000–$70,000 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, finance, supply chain or other relevant area
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience with procurement/contracts
- Understanding of legal terminology in business contracts
- Ability to identify risk and ensure compliance while reviewing contracts
- Knowledge of business insurance terminology
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
